Aggie-STEM Summer 2009 Conference

Texas A&M University's Aggie STEM Center (formerly known as NTSTEM) is hosting its annual summer conference this year at Conrad High School in Dallas. The conference will include a working lunch, a copy of our new book on Project-Based Learning (PBL), and a preview to the PBL lesson plan book.

The focus of the workshop is PBL. This dynamic teaching method allows students the opportunity to learn with hands-on methods while stretching their creativity and higher order thinking processes.

Educators can attend a beginner's session or choose to attend an intermediate level for those with experience. Skilled PBL teachers will be there to share their successful classroom experiences.

Sessions will also include workshops on professional learning communities, technology, and assessment. The following sessions will be provided:
