Kristin Huggins is a Graduate Research Assistant and doctoral student in the department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development working for Texas A&M University's North Texas STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) Center. Her research interests include professional development, equity in education, and qualitative research methods. Her current dissertation research examines the development of professional learning communities in urban high schools engaging in STEM reform. Kristin became a National Board Certified secondary teacher in 2001. She taught grades 7-12 for eleven in years combined in Oklahoma and Texas. She received her B.S. from Oklahoma State University and her M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma.
